Peace Pagoda in Pokhara draws tourists with panoramic views of Phewa Lake and Machhapuchre



POKHARA: The World Peace Pagoda has emerged as one of Pokhara Valley’s most popular religious and tourist sites.

Situated on a hill on the southern edge of Phewa Lake, the pagoda offers breathtaking views of the lake, Pokhara city, and the Machhapuchre and Annapurna mountain ranges.

The white, dome-shaped structure features Buddha statues on its upper level. Visitors often find a serene atmosphere around the pagoda, making it a favored spot for meditation, prayer, and quiet reflection. Devotees and tourists alike come here to experience a sense of peace and calm.

The site is accessible by hiking, cycling, or driving, and is particularly famous for its stunning sunrise and sunset views over the valley.
