NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.91, while the selling rate is Rs 153.51. The buying rate for one euro is Rs 177.46 and the selling rate is Rs 178.16.

Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 207.29 and the selling rate is Rs 208.11. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 188.71 for buying and Rs 189.45 for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 108.23 and the selling rate is Rs 108.65. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.23 for buying and Rs 110.67 for selling, while the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.80 and the selling rate is Rs 120.27.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.61 and the selling rate is Rs 9.65. Similarly, one Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.69 and a selling rate of Rs 22.78. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.73 and the selling rate is Rs 40.89, while one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.95 for buying and Rs 42.11 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.62 and the selling rate is Rs 4.64. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.64 for buying and Rs 41.80 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.69 and a selling rate of Rs 37.83.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.11 and the selling rate is Rs 11.04. One Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 16.08 and a selling rate of Rs 16.15, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.74 for buying and Rs 23.83 for selling.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.50 and the selling rate is Rs 19.57. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 497.83 for buying and Rs 499.79 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 405.58 and the selling rate is Rs 407.17, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 397.16 and a selling rate of Rs 398.72.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s published rates. The latest rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
