Three parliamentary committees to hold meetings today



KATHMANDU: Three committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today to discuss issues related to legislation, public policy and national concerns.

The Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee will meet at 11:00 am at Singha Durbar. The meeting will discuss a study report titled “Study on the Effectiveness of the National Women Commission’s Work” prepared by the Parliamentary Study and Research Division.

Similarly, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will hold its meeting at 1:00 pm. The agenda includes a review of monitoring activities conducted in districts under Madhesh and Bagmati provinces.

Meanwhile, the Legislation Management Committee will meet at 2:15 pm in the committee meeting hall at Singha Durbar. The meeting will hold discussions on law implementation assessment and interrelationship among legislative provisions.
