Grade 11 classes to begin from June 15

KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to begin Grade 11 classes from June 15 as part of efforts to keep the academic calendar on schedule.

The Ministry of Education has prepared a work plan to start classes from June 15 following the early publication of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results this year.

This year’s SEE results were published within 29 days. After the results were made public on May 11, schools across the country have begun student enrollment processes.

According to the ministry, the move aims to prevent delays in the academic session and ensure students’ learning activities continue on time.

Both community and private schools are also preparing to conduct classes from June 15.

Although the current academic session began later than usual from April 28, the government has introduced plans to minimize the impact on students’ learning.

The measures include reducing winter and monsoon vacations and conducting full-day classes even on Fridays.
