Gold price stable, silver drops by Rs 10 in local markets



KATHMANDU: The price of gold remained unchanged compared to Thursday, while the price of silver declined by Rs 10.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of one tola of standard gold has been fixed at Rs 304,700, and one tola of silver at Rs 5,050.

Yesterday, Thursday, the price of one tola of gold was also Rs 304,700, while silver was priced at Rs 5,060 per tola.

International media report that in the global market today, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,992, and the equivalent amount of silver is trading at USD 78.
