Gold hits new record, silver price rises in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The record-breaking rise in gold prices continued on Tuesday, with the rate increasing by Rs 2,700 per tola compared to the previous day.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 284,700 per tola today. Yesterday, gold was traded at Rs 282,000 per tola. International markets have also seen gold prices reach new highs.

Silver prices also rose, gaining Rs 70 per tola. The precious metal, which traded at Rs 5,810 per tola yesterday, has reached Rs 5,880 per tola today.
