Minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley drops to 4.5°C



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley woke up to a chilly start today, with the Weather Forecasting Division recording a minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am.

Yesterday (Monday), the minimum temperature at the same time was 5 degrees Celsius, which later dropped to 4.5 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am.

The official minimum temperature for today will be measured again at 8:45 am and is expected to be slightly lower than the early morning reading.

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures across the country. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum is recorded at 5:45 pm. The lowest reading of the day is considered the minimum, and the highest is the maximum.
