Federal Parliament Secretariat calls meeting of six parties represented in House



KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has called a meeting of six political parties that secured representation in the House of Representatives through the election held on March 5.

The meeting is scheduled for 2 pm on Thursday and will include all six parties represented in the lower house.

Through the Falgun 21 election, the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party have secured seats in Parliament.

The joint meeting will be held at the office of the Secretary General at the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

However, it has not yet been disclosed which leaders from each party will attend the meeting. Meanwhile, the Election Commission is currently distributing certificates to MPs elected under the proportional representation system.
