KATHMANDU: The Nepal ‘A’ cricket team has departed for Australia to participate in the Top End T20 series.
The team left for Australia on Monday night. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had bid farewell to the 15-member squad on Sunday. Anil Kumar Sah will captain Nepal ‘A’ during the tour.
Nepal ‘A’ will begin its Top End T20 campaign against Northern Territory Strike on August 21. The team will then face Bangladesh High Performance on August 22, Hobart Hurricanes Academy on August 24, Australian Capital Territory on August 26, Hyderabad Kingsmen Academy on August 27 and Victoria CA-11 on August 29.
According to CAN, Nepal ‘A’ is also scheduled to play one-day practice matches against New Zealand ‘A’, Tasmania and South Australia during its stay in Australia.
