NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for Saturday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 153.76 and the selling rate at Rs 154.36.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.85 and the selling rate at Rs 176.53. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 206.60 and the selling rate Rs 207.41, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 190.34 and the selling rate Rs 191.09.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.17 and the selling rate at Rs 107.59. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.57 and the selling rate Rs 110.00, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.11 and the selling rate Rs 119.58.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.47 and the selling rate at Rs 9.51. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.69 and the selling rate Rs 22.78. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.94 and the selling rate Rs 41.10, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 42.17 and the selling rate Rs 42.34.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate Rs 4.59. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.86 and the selling rate Rs 42.03, while the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.55 and the selling rate Rs 37.69.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.35 and the selling rate Rs 10.39. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.91 and the selling rate Rs 15.97, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.52 and the selling rate Rs 23.61.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.61 and the selling rate at Rs 19.69. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 500.03 and the selling rate Rs 501.98, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 407.85 and the selling rate Rs 409.44. The buying rate of one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 399.36 and the selling rate at Rs 400.91.

The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 for INR 100, while the selling rate is also Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s website.
