NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 153.25, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.85.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 178.17 and the selling rate at Rs 178.87. The buying and selling rates of one UK pound sterling have been set at Rs 204.21 and Rs 205.01 respectively, while one Swiss franc is being traded at Rs 194.71 for buying and Rs 195.48 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.58 and the selling rate at Rs 110.01. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is valued at Rs 111.46 for buying and Rs 111.89 for selling, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 119.66 and a selling rate of Rs 120.13.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.65 and the selling rate at Rs 9.69. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.50 for buying and Rs 22.59 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.84 and the selling rate is Rs 41.00, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 42.06 and a selling rate of Rs 42.23.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.69 and the selling rate is Rs 4.71. One UAE dirham is valued at Rs 41.72 for buying and Rs 41.89 for selling. The buying and selling rates of one Malaysian ringgit stand at Rs 38.79 and Rs 38.94 respectively.

Similarly, 100 South Korean won is being exchanged at Rs 10.23 for buying and Rs 10.27 for selling. One Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.22 for buying and Rs 16.28 for selling, while one Danish krone is valued at Rs 23.84 for buying and Rs 23.93 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.57 and the selling rate at Rs 19.65. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 500.24 for buying and Rs 502.20 for selling. The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar stand at Rs 406.34 and Rs 407.93 respectively, while one Omani rial is being traded at Rs 398.05 for buying and Rs 399.61 for selling.

The buying rate of Indian currency worth Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
