KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of a western low-pressure system along with local winds across the country.
This afternoon, hilly areas are expected to remain mostly cloudy, while the hills and plains will see partly cloudy conditions. There is a chance of light rain, snowfall, thunder, and lightning at a few locations in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Tonight, weather conditions will turn generally cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki. Meanwhile, hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi will remain partly cloudy, with mostly clear skies elsewhere.
Light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely at some places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim Province.
