11 soldiers injured as Nepal Army bus en route to poll security patrol crashes in Bhojpur



BHOJPUR: A bus carrying personnel of the Nepali Army met with an accident in Bhojpur while heading out for a security patrol ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

The bus, carrying 24 army personnel, had departed from the New Shreenath Battalion based at the district headquarters for patrol duty when it veered off the road near Seti Bagar in Bhojpur Municipality-3.

According to a local eyewitness, Prakash Dahal, 11 soldiers injured in the incident have been rescued. The passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 7317) reportedly fell off the road at a bend near Seti Bagar.

Following the accident, another team of army personnel, along with police and local residents, rushed to the site and carried out rescue operations.
