Rabi and Balen to address mass assembly in Dhangadhi today

DHANGADHI: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a mass meeting in Dhangadhi, Kailali today.

RSP leader Kabindra Thakulla said the meeting will be attended by party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra Shah (Balen).

“We are organizing the program in Dhangadhi, including addresses by the party chair and senior leaders,” Thakulla said. “Along with Rabi and Balen, candidates from all constituencies of the Sudurpaschim districts will also speak at the meeting.”

The program is expected to draw thousands of participants and will begin at 11 am today. Lamichhane, a candidate from Chitwan-2, and Balen, a candidate from Jhapa-5, are contesting in the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5.

Earlier, the RSP had organized a ‘Pariwartan Udghosh Sabha’ in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha, where both Rabi and Balen had addressed the gathering. Today’s meeting will mark Balen’s second public address following the Janakpur event.

Thakulla added that Lamichhane will travel from Kanchanpur to attend the program, while Balen will arrive from Kathmandu.
