Department of Passport to remain open on public holidays



KATHMANDU: The Department of Passport will continue providing services even on public holidays.

According to a public notice, the Department will remain open for passport-related work, including distribution, despite today and tomorrow being official holidays.

The government has declared today a holiday for Gyalpo Lhosar and tomorrow, Thursday, for Democracy Day. The Passport Department will operate on both days from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Department stated that passport distribution services will be available today, while passport application forms will be accepted on Thursday. It emphasized that the office remains open during public holidays as it provides essential services.
