NC to unveil ‘election pledge’ from Madhesh today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is unveiling its election pledge today through a meeting in Janakpur.

Party spokesperson Devraj Chalise stated that detailed information about the pledge presented in Janakpur will be shared later at a press conference at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

The meeting, organized by the Nepali Congress Madhesh Province Working Committee, is being held in Janakpurdham and has been named ‘Pratigya Sabha’. Party President Gagan Thapa will address the gathering and simultaneously unveil the party’s election manifesto, titled ‘Pratigya Patra’.

Krishna Prasad Yadav, President of the Congress Madhesh Province Committee, said the goal is to attract around 100,000 participants to the event.
