Five killed in bus accident carrying children in Dharan



KATHMANDU: Five people were killed when a bus met with an accident in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City of Sunsari district on Sunday.

The bus, bearing registration number Ko 1 Kha 7119, had travelled from Janakpur in Dhanusha to Bhedetar in Dhankuta and was returning when the accident occurred.

Police said the bus was carrying students who had gone on an educational excursion.

Preliminary findings suggest that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
