RSP holding Central Committee meeting to finalize candidates for HoR elections



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a central committee meeting today to finalize its candidates for the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for March 5.

Party spokesperson Manish Jha said that senior leader and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah is expected to participate in the meeting. Shah is set to submit his resignation from the post of mayor today.

According to Jha, the meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Chamati, Kathmandu and will be attended by senior leaders, including party president Rabi Lamichhane.

Following the meeting, party president Lamichhane, leader Shah, and other senior leaders are scheduled to leave for Janakpur this evening.
