KATHMANDU: Nepal is experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds, bringing fog to some Terai areas and creating a chance of light rain and snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki Provinces.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, some Terai areas may experience fog this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki Provinces will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly clear. Light rain and snowfall are possible in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
Tonight, fog is again likely in some Terai regions. The hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki Provinces will remain partly cloudy, with mainly clear skies elsewhere. There is a chance of light rain and snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Gandaki Provinces.
