KATHMANDU: Chief of the Nepali Army, General Ashok Raj Sigdel, held a meeting with Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun in Beijing on Thursday during his visit to China.
According to the Nepali Army, the two sides discussed various matters of mutual interest and issues related to Nepal-China military relations.
During his China visit, General Sigdel also inspected China’s National Defense University (NDU), where he was briefed on the university’s activities and academic programmes.
He also attended the opening session of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
Sigdel’s visit to China is focused on high-level discussions and cooperation concerning Nepal-China military relations and mutual assistance.
