Share prices fall across 201 companies as NEPSE edges lower



KATHMANDU: Share prices of 201 companies has declined in trading at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday, the first trading day of the week.

Meanwhile, share prices of 72 companies increased, while those of five companies remained unchanged.

A total of Rs 5.52 billion worth of shares were traded on the day, with 11,932,035 shares changing hands. The NEPSE index declined by 2.01 points.

Investors trading shares of Sarbottam Paints Industries recorded the highest gains, while those trading shares of First Microfinance suffered the biggest losses.
