Two killed, three critically injured as jeep plunges off road in Kavre



KAVRE: Two people were killed and three others critically injured after a Bolero jeep plunged around 200 meters down a mountainside in Syaulithali of Khanikhola Rural Municipality-1 on Monday.

The accident occurred along the Panauti–Taldhunga inner road when the jeep reportedly lost control and veered off the road, falling down the steep hillside.

The identities of the two people who died at the scene have not yet been confirmed. The three injured passengers are in critical condition, and preparations are underway to transport them to a hospital for treatment.

Police and ambulance teams have reached the accident site and are carrying out rescue operations.
