HoR, National Assembly to hold meetings today



KATHMANDU: Meetings of both Houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to be held today.

The meeting of the House of Representatives will begin at 1:00 PM at Singha Durbar. The agenda includes proposals to consider various bills.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal is scheduled to present the ‘Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083’ for approval. Similarly, Minister for Women Sita Badi will present the ‘Children (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’.

Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal is scheduled to propose the ‘Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’ for discussion.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly will meet at 1:15 PM. During the meeting, Agriculture Minister Gita Chaudhary will present the ‘Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083’ for consideration and forwarding to the Legislation Management Committee for further deliberation.
