Special Court orders Deepak Bhatta, Sulav Agrawal into judicial custody



KATHMANDU: The Special Court has ordered Deepak Bhatta and Sulav Agrawal to be remanded in judicial custody pending trial.

A bench comprising Special Court Chairperson Sudarshan Dev Bhatta and members Umesh Koirala and Bidur Koirala issued the order.

The court also directed authorities to ensure appropriate medical treatment arrangements for Agrawal.

Bhatta and Agrawal are facing charges under money laundering laws. The Special Court issued the detention order after hearing the case filed against them on allegations of property laundering.
