24 arrested with drugs from various parts of country



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 24 individuals in possession of illegal drugs from various parts of the country during routine patrol operations.

According to the Central Police Newsroom, two individuals were arrested with brown sugar from Baniyatar in Tokha Municipality-8. One person was apprehended from Bhatkeko Pati in Bhaktapur Municipality-10.

Similarly, two individuals were arrested from Pachui in Belauri Municipality-8 of Kanchanpur, while two others were detained from Trinagar area in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2 of Kailali.

In separate incidents, one person was arrested with brown heroin from Godavari Municipality-1 of Kailali, and another from Battar Tole in Ratnanagar Municipality-11 of Chitwan. Police also arrested two individuals from Hattisuuda in Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-11 of Rupandehi.

In Jhapa, five individuals were detained from Surunga in Kankai Municipality-3, while two others were arrested from Tappu Chowk in the same municipality.

Likewise, two individuals were arrested from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11 in Morang, two from Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 (Benitar) in Tanahun, and two from Rapti Rural Municipality-1 in Dang.
