Oli and Prachanda hold talks



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who is currently undergoing treatment in hospital, held talks with Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Prachanda visited Oli at the hospital, where the UML leader is recovering after a gallbladder operation.

Oli was shifted from the ICU to the general ward on Thursday. Following the transfer, Prachanda met him, according to a CPN-UML leader.

According to party leaders, the two held discussions for around 40 minutes. The meeting between the top leaders is being seen as significant amid ongoing discussions about possible UML–NCP unification.
