Gold, silver prices drop slightly



KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver witnessed a slight decline in Nepali market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs 3,000 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 120 per tola.

With the decline, gold is being traded at Rs 299,800 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 5,130 per tola in the local market.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 302,800 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,250 per tola.

Similarly, on Wednesday, the price of gold stood at Rs 302,700 per tola and silver was traded at Rs 5,220 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at around 4,820 US dollars per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at 75 US dollars per ounce.
