NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 147.58 and the selling rate at Rs 148.18.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 169.34 and the selling rate at Rs 170.03. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at Rs 195.82 and the selling rate at Rs 196.61, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.27 and the selling rate at Rs 188.03.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 104.04 and the selling rate at Rs 104.47. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar stands at Rs 107.85 and the selling rate at Rs 108.29, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 115.38 and the selling rate at Rs 115.85.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.27 and the selling rate Rs 9.30. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 21.40 and the selling rate at Rs 21.49. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.33 and the selling rate at Rs 39.49, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal has been set at Rs 40.38 and the selling rate at Rs 40.54.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.55 and the selling rate Rs 4.57. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 40.18 and the selling rate at Rs 40.34. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.55 and the selling rate Rs 37.70.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been set at Rs 9.89 and the selling rate at Rs 9.93. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.74 and the selling rate Rs 15.80, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 22.66 and the selling rate Rs 22.76.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.85 and the selling rate at Rs 18.92. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 480.72 and the selling rate at Rs 482.67, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 390.94 and the selling rate at Rs 392.53, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 383.32 and the selling rate at Rs 384.88.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The central bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
