KP Oli to unveil election commitment letter in Jhapa-5 today



KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN-UML and candidate from Jhapa-5, KP Sharma Oli, is set to unveil his election commitment letter today.

Oli, who is currently engaged in election campaigning, will make the commitment letter public at 3 pm at Amarsingh Chowk in Damak-9.

According to Devendra Dahal, coordinator of Oli’s election mobilization committee, the document outlines a list of works that Oli plans to undertake in the constituency if elected.

Dahal said the commitment letter also includes the background of the establishment of the communist movement in Nepal, achievements made by governments formed under UML leadership, and detailed information about plans initiated by the government but left incomplete.

The commitment letter will be unveiled during a campaign program to be held at Amarsingh Chowk, Dahal added.

Oli is also scheduled to carry out election campaign programs at Dumse and Tukure in Damak-3 later today.
