Kathmandu records 8.6°C minimum temperature this morning



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu woke up to a minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius at 5:45 a.m. today (Tuesday), according to the Weather Forecast Division.

At the same time yesterday (Monday), the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 8.1 degrees Celsius. By the last measurement taken at 8:45 a.m., it had dropped to 7.9 degrees Celsius.

The official minimum temperature for the day is recorded at 8:45 a.m. There is a possibility that today’s minimum temperature may decrease slightly from the level recorded earlier this morning.

The lowest temperature recorded in a day is referred to as the minimum temperature, while the highest temperature is known as the maximum temperature.

The Division measures the daily minimum and maximum temperatures at various locations across the country, including Kathmandu. The minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 a.m., and the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 p.m.
