Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meets today for first time under Thapa’s leadership

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Central Working Committee is holding its meeting today, the first since the selection of the party’s new leadership.

The meeting has been scheduled for 11:30 am at Arpan Banquet in New Baneshwor.

This comes after the Election Commission on Friday granted official recognition to the leadership headed by Gagan Thapa, elected through the party’s special general convention.

Party sources said all office bearers and central committee members have been requested to attend the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting is expected to focus on the post-convention political course and organizational matters under the newly recognized leadership.
