Minimum temperature rises steadily in Kathmandu Valley



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has been steadily rising.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 4.9°C at 5:45 am today (Saturday). Yesterday, it was 4.4°C at the same time, but later dropped to 4°C at 8:45 am. Today’s official minimum temperature will also be measured at 8:45 am, and it is expected to be slightly lower than the early-morning reading.

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu. Minimum temperatures are measured at 8:45 am, while maximum temperatures are recorded at 5:45 pm. The lowest reading of the day represents the minimum temperature, and the highest reading is recorded as the maximum temperature.
