KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall in several parts of the country on Wednesday afternoon and night.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the Division this morning, skies will remain generally cloudy across the country this afternoon.
Moderate to heavy rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in some places in the Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in the Himalayan areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, moderate to heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at a few places in the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
In the Terai, moderate to heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, including Madhesh Province, and at a few places in the Terai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Division has also forecast heavy rainfall at some places in the Himalayan, hilly, and Terai areas of Koshi Province, as well as at one or two places in the hilly and Terai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Meanwhile, the country is expected to remain generally cloudy tonight as well. Moderate to heavy rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in the Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places in the Himalayan areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
