Two earthquakes hit Mugu within three hours



KATHMANDU: Two earthquakes struck Mugu district within a span of three hours on Wednesday morning, with both epicentres located around Kalai.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the first earthquake, measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale, occurred at 1:51 am.

The second earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.2, struck at 4:28 am, with its epicentre also located around Kalai in Mugu district, the center said.
