NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 153.24, while the selling rate is Rs 153.84.

The buying and selling rates for one euro have been fixed at Rs 176.80 and Rs 177.49, respectively. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 206.55 and the selling rate is Rs 207.36. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.37 for buying and Rs 188.10 for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 109.24, with the selling rate at Rs 109.66. One Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.19 for buying and Rs 110.62 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is set at Rs 120.45 and Rs 120.92, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.90, while the selling rate is Rs 9.93. One Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.83 for buying and Rs 22.92 for selling. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.80 and Rs 40.96, while one Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 42.04 and Rs 42.20 for buying and selling, respectively.

According to NRB, the buying and selling rates for one Thai baht are Rs 4.60 and Rs 4.62, respectively. One UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.72 for buying and Rs 41.89 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.49 and Rs 37.64, respectively.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.26, while the selling rate is Rs 11.31. One Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.68 for buying and Rs 15.74 for selling, while one Danish krone is set at Rs 23.65 and Rs 23.74, respectively.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.54, with the selling rate at Rs 19.61. One Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 499.15 for buying and Rs 501.11 for selling. Similarly, one Bahraini dinar is set at Rs 406.49 and Rs 408.08, while one Omani rial is fixed at Rs 398.02 and Rs 399.58 for buying and selling, respectively.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s official rates, and updated exchange rates are available on NRB’s website.
