Baglung section of Kaligandaki Corridor blocked by landslide

BAGLUNG: Vehicular movement along the Baglung section of the Kaligandaki Corridor has remained suspended since Wednesday night after a landslide struck Belbagar in Jaimini Municipality-8.

The District Police Office, Baglung, said efforts are underway to clear the debris and restore traffic on the road.

“We are coordinating with the Kaligandaki Corridor Project to reopen the road as soon as possible,” said Police Deputy Superintendent and Information Officer Rameshwor Twati.

The road blockage has disrupted transport services to the southern parts of Baglung district, while vehicles travelling to Butwal have been stranded at Belbagar.
