Yogesh Bhattarai meets President Paudel, thanks him for role after Gen-Z movement



KATHMANDU: Deputy General Secretary of UML Yogesh Bhattarai met President Ram Chandra Paudel on Monday.

Bhattarai visited the President at Shital Niwas following the results of the March 5 election and expressed gratitude for the President’s role during the complex situation that emerged after the Gen-Z movement on September 8 and 9, 2025.

He praised the President for playing a guardian-like role in safeguarding the Constitution and helping maintain the functioning of the democratic system amid uncertainty following the two-day protest.

Bhattarai said the President provided important guidance to steer the country in the right direction during the crisis.

He also expressed appreciation for the inspirational advice and suggestions he received from the President during the meeting.
