TANAHUN: One person died and three others were injured in a tractor accident in Bhimad Municipality of Tanahun district.
The accident occurred along the Rittabhanjyang-Serabenshi road section in Bhimad when a tractor carrying construction materials from Buchakhani to Thakuri Thar lost control and overturned, according to police.
Police identified the deceased as 45-year-old Maila Tharu of Chainpur, Shivraj Municipality-1 in Kapilvastu District.
The injured include tractor driver Anil Kumal, 32, of Thangpatan, Myagde Rural Municipality-5 in Tanahun, as well as Narayan Pun, 50, and Durga Bahadur Pun, 51, residents of the same area.
According to police, Kumal and Narayan Pun have been referred to Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment, while Durga Bahadur Pun is receiving treatment at a local health facility.
