Petrol price rises to Rs 172 per litre from today



 

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised the prices of petroleum products.

According to the revised rates that camento effect today, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 15 per litre, taking it to Rs 172. Similarly, the prices of diesel and kerosene have been raised by Rs 10 per litre.

Following the adjustment, petrol is now priced at Rs 172 per litre in cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal, while diesel and kerosene will be sold at Rs 152 per litre.

The corporation stated that the price hike was prompted by the prevailing international situation and rising global fuel costs associated with tensions in West Asia.
