Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KAHTMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 144.18, while the selling rate stands at Rs 144.78.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 167.74 and the selling rate at Rs 168.44. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 193.53 and sold at Rs 194.33, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 180.07 and a selling rate of Rs 180.82.

The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 96.57 and sold at Rs 96.97, the Canadian dollar at Rs 103.74 (buying) and Rs 104.17 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs 112.00 (buying) and Rs 112.47 (selling).

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.10, while the selling rate is Rs 9.13. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.69 and sold at Rs 20.78. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 38.44 (buying) and Rs 38.60 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.45 (buying) and Rs 39.61 (selling).

According to the bank, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.60 and sold at Rs 4.62. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 39.25 and a selling rate of Rs 39.42. The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 35.56 (buying) and Rs 35.71 (selling). The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.82 and Rs 9.86, respectively. The Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.68 (buying) and Rs 15.75 (selling), while the Danish krona stands at Rs 22.45 (buying) and Rs 22.54 (selling).

Likewise, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.49 and the selling rate is Rs 18.56. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 471.48 and sold at Rs 473.45, while the Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 382.43 (buying) and Rs 384.02 (selling). The Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 374.51 and a selling rate of Rs 376.07.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
