KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.59, while the selling rate is Rs 153.19.
The buying rate for one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.09 and the selling rate at Rs 176.78. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.74 and the selling rate is Rs 206.55, while the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 186.80 and the selling rate is Rs 187.54.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 108.74 and the selling rate at Rs 109.16. Likewise, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.81 and the selling rate is Rs 110.24, while the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 120.05 and the selling rate is Rs 120.52.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.86 and the selling rate is Rs 9.90. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.75 and the selling rate is Rs 22.83. Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.63 and the selling rate is Rs 40.79, while the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.86 and the selling rate is Rs 42.02.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.59 and the selling rate is Rs 4.60. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 41.55 and the selling rate is Rs 41.71, while the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.44 and the selling rate is Rs 37.58.
The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.35 and the selling rate is Rs 11.39. Similarly, the buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.61 and the selling rate is Rs 15.67, while the buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 23.55 and the selling rate is Rs 23.65.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.45 and the selling rate at Rs 19.53. Likewise, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 497.20 and the selling rate is Rs 499.15, while the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.77 and the selling rate is Rs 406.37.
The buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 396.33 and the selling rate is Rs 397.89. The buying and selling rates for 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It added that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
