KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 152.41, while the selling rate is Rs 153.01.
The buying rate for one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.80 and the selling rate at Rs 176.50. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 205.65 and the selling rate Rs 206.46, while the Swiss franc is fixed at Rs 187.72 for buying and Rs 188.35 for selling.
Similarly, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 107.56 and a selling rate of Rs 107.98. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 109.33 for buying and Rs 109.76 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 119.06 for buying and Rs 119.53 for selling.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.56 and the selling rate Rs 9.60. Similarly, one Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.60 for buying and Rs 22.69 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.59 for buying and Rs 40.75 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 41.80 and Rs 41.97, respectively.
According to NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.60 and the selling rate Rs 4.62. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.50 for buying and Rs 41.66 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.29 and Rs 37.44, respectively.
The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.72 and the selling rate Rs 10.76. Similarly, the Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.95 for buying and Rs 16.01 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.53 and Rs 23.61, respectively.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.42 and the selling rate Rs 19.50. Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar is fixed at Rs 496.05 for buying and Rs 498.00 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has been set at Rs 404.24 for buying and Rs 405.84 for selling, while the Omani rial is fixed at Rs 395.85 and Rs 397.41, respectively.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. The rates set by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated rates are available on the NRB website.
