Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City halts river-based material sales from July 17



HETAUDA: Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City has announced a ban on the sale and distribution of river-based materials from July 17.

Issuing a public notice, the sub-metropolitan city stated that industries are legally required to submit their annual stock details and records of purchase and sales to the concerned local level by the end of each fiscal year.

According to the notice, crusher and sand industries operating within the sub-metropolitan area must verify their final stock along with transaction details for the fiscal year 2025/26 before beginning operations for fiscal year 2026/27.

The sub-metropolitan city has instructed firms, industries, and companies to halt the sale, distribution, and transportation of river-based materials from midnight on July 16 until further notice.
