NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.63 and the selling rate at Rs 154.23.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 175.15 and the selling rate at Rs 175.83. One UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 205.56 for buying and Rs 206.37 for selling, while the buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc have been fixed at Rs 189.19 and Rs 189.93, respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 106.81 and the selling rate is Rs 107.23. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 109.07 and sold at Rs 109.50, while one Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 118.85 for buying and Rs 119.32 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.47 and the selling rate at Rs 9.51. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.66 for buying and Rs 22.75 for selling.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.90 and Rs 41.06, while one Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 42.15 for buying and Rs 42.31 for selling.

According to NRB, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.58 and sold at Rs 4.60. The buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 41.83 and Rs 41.99, respectively, while one Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs 37.67 for buying and Rs 37.82 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.28 and the selling rate is Rs 10.32. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.87 and sold at Rs 15.93, while one Danish krone is valued at Rs 23.43 for buying and Rs 23.52 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.60 and the selling rate at Rs 19.68. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 499.20 and sold at Rs 501.15, while the buying and selling rates for one Bahraini dinar are Rs 407.45 and Rs 409.04, respectively. One Omani rial is valued at Rs 399.02 for buying and Rs 400.58 for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 for INR 100, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates are subject to revision as required. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest official rates are available on the central bank’s website.
