Elderly pedestrian killed in motorcycle accident in Lamjung



LAMJUNG: An elderly man died after being struck by a motorcycle in Besisahar Municipality-1 today.

The deceased has been identified as 74-year-old Mahanidhi Sedhai of the same locality. According to police, the motorcycle was travelling from Udipur towards Ramchowk Valley when it hit Sedhai, causing fatal injuries.

Gyanendra Bahadur Chhetri, Information Officer at the District Police Office, said the motorcycle rider, 20-year-old Bikesh Tamang, was also injured in the incident. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Besisahar.
