Gold and silver prices fall



KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver have declined in the domestic market on Friday, with gold dropping by Rs 4,000 per tola and silver by Rs 355 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 298,500 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 5,390 per tola.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 302,500 per tola and silver at Rs 5,745 per tola. Similarly, on Wednesday, gold was priced at Rs 302,200 per tola and silver at Rs 5,710 per tola.

In the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 4,678 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 87 per ounce, according to international media reports.
