Rhino found dead in Kawasoti maize field



KATHMANDU: A male rhino was found dead at Lokaha Syauli in Kawasoti on Thursday.

According to Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, the rhino was discovered in a maize field belonging to local resident Bhim Bahadur Darjee.

Adhikari said the horn and hooves of the adult rhino have been secured safely.

The exact cause of the rhino’s death has yet to be determined, as no visible injuries were found on its body.

Authorities said further investigation into the incident is underway.
