Congress President Thapa, party leaders meet Prime Minister Karki



KATHMANDU: A delegation of Nepali Congress leaders, led by party president Gagan Thapa, met with Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Baluwatar on Sunday.

The delegation, which included vice-presidents Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal, discussed the party’s role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the recent elections.

Prime Minister Karki expressed her gratitude for the Congress’s supportive role in the elections and encouraged party leaders not to be discouraged by electoral defeats, according to her press advisor Rambahadur Rawal.
