NC’s Central Work Execution Committee meeting underway to finalize PR lawmakers



KATHMANDU: The Central Work Execution Committee meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) is currently underway at the party’s central office in Sanepa to finalize the names of lawmakers to be elected under the proportional representation (PR) system.

According to the party, the meeting is focused on deciding the final list of House of Representatives members to be selected based on the number of seats NC secured in the recent elections under the PR system.

The names will be chosen from the closed list of candidates submitted by the party to the Election Commission prior to the elections.

Earlier, Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal issued a notice requesting all office bearers and members of the Central Working Committee to attend the meeting on time.
