KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Friday).
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.41 and the selling rate at Rs 153.01.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.80 and the selling rate at Rs 176.50. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 205.65 and the selling rate at Rs 206.46. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.62 and the selling rate at Rs 188.35.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.56 and the selling rate at Rs 107.98. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.33 and the selling rate at Rs 109.76. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 119.06 and the selling rate at Rs 119.53.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.56 and the selling rate at Rs 9.60. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.60 and the selling rate at Rs 22.69. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.59 and the selling rate at Rs 40.75. The buying rate of one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.80 and the selling rate at Rs 41.97.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.60 and the selling rate at Rs 4.62. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.50 and the selling rate at Rs 41.66. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.29 and the selling rate at Rs 37.44.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.72 and the selling rate at Rs 10.76. The buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.95 and the selling rate at Rs 16.01. The buying rate of one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.52 and the selling rate at Rs 23.61.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 496.05 and the selling rate at Rs 498.00. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 404.24 and the selling rate at Rs 405.84. The buying rate of one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 395.85 and the selling rate at Rs 397.41.
The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.00.
The central bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
